    TUITION
    New to FlipSide for 2017/18 - Tuition charges for each class are the same each month. Some months (such as Sept.) will have 3 weeks of classes, other months (such as Oct.) have 5 weeks of classes. The average of course being 4 weeks of class/ per month. You will not however be charged more or less due to these differences. Dec. and June tuition will be charged as one month in Dec.

    MAKEUP POLICY
    Thank you for not bringing your sick or lice ridden child to class! We all appreciate it! You can make up your missed class/es on another day offering that same level (space permitting) or at any of our Open Gym sessions. You have 30 days to make up missed classes!


    DROP PROCEDURE
    PARENTS MUST NOTIFY FLIPSIDE TO DROP A STUDENT FROM CLASS. Send us an email or text letting us know your child will be dropping.

    Please note: You are responsible for payment for your student's classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS until the time you notify us VIA WRITTEN NOTICE. Please do not rely on your student to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes. If a student stops coming to class without notification then that student's account will be charged for the additional 30 days. This charge will be for holding the student's place in that class instead of offering that place to one of the many on a waiting list.

    CAMP PAYMENT/ REFUND POLICY

    • Camp deposits are due at the time of registration and are non-refundable
    • All remaining camp balances are due by June 1st!
    • Full refunds minus deposit offered up to 2 weeks prior to camp start date.
    • NO REFUNDS given within 2 weeks of the camp starting date.

    Please let us know ASAP if your child needs to drop his/her spot from a camp.  We often have a waitlist of eager kiddos hoping to join. 

    PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE
    I understand that as a part of taking classes, programs, camps, and/or participating in activities at FlipSide, my child/ren’s photo may be used in gym publications, on the website, released to the media, and/or otherwise published for any purposes in connection with the activities of the gym and I do hereby consent to its use. I understand my child's name and or personal information will never be shared.

    ARRIVAL AND PICKUP
    When dropping off or picking up your student, please park on the street or in the small lot across from the gym.  DO NOT park in front of the warehouses!  Be sure your student arrives 5 minutes before (no earlier please) his/her scheduled class time. Please pick up your student on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your student. Instruct your student to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your car.  Please take into consideration that our warehouse neighbor (Arete CrossFit) often has patrons running through the main entryway as part of a timed workout. For everyone's safety, please keep young children by your side when entering/exiting the building.

    WHAT TO WEAR
    Boys or Girls may wear tucked in T-shirts/ tanks and shorts OR Leotards. NO chewing gum or dangling jewelry. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that is stays up for the entire workout. Girls should not wear bows or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during activity. Personal items should be left in cubby holes. Jewelry should not be worn during classes. Be sure your student's personal items are marked with their name.

    RESTROOMS / CHANGING ROOMS
    FlipSide has 2 restrooms for our student/parent use.  The first is in our gym. Feel free to use it anytime! The second is outside our side door facing Hersey Street. The code is 1999. Additionally there are 3 changing stalls in the mail lobby for student use. If possible, please refrain from using CrossFit Inconceivable's restroom as that is the only one available to their patrons. 

     

    Frequently Asked Questions:

    I know my family will be gone for 1 day of my child's class. Can I get it pro-rated for the weeks my child will be there?

    That would be cool. We used to allow this. But it started getting tricky to manage and hard to pay the bills! Instead we will offer you a FREE spot in any of our monthly Open Gym Days or a make up lesson in another appropriate class.

    Can my child join a class mid-month or mid-session?

    Absolutely... if there is space in the class! Check in with us to be sure. As a new student enrolling mid-month we will pro-rate your tuition accordingly.

    My child is sick! Can we make up a class?

    Do I need to register my child every month for class?

    No! On-going students we love you!  WE WILL ASSUME YOU ARE CONTINUING WITH US UNLESS WE HEAR FROM YOU! So please let us know if you will be taking a break from classes so we can open that spot to another child.
